to my family history website

This site is devoted to a family histor y – which I have recently revised and reformatted on WordPress with some additional family trees, including now one for the Pollock family dating back to 1080. I have also added a page on Sir Jonathan Pollock, the Lord Chief Baron, and his son and grandson – the latter perhaps a proto-humanist of Victorian times.

I currently have three other sites:

one for my writings on Humanism and related topics

one with the archives of the Oxford University Humanist Group in the 1960s and

one with the full text of my book Denial & Delay about the politics of smoking and health in the UK up to 1964.

I used to have an old site to support the campaign against religious (‘faith’) schools (learning-together.org.uk – a URL now in other hands) but this was over 15 years out of date and is no longer available. Anyone wanting to track down references to it is welcome to contact me by e-mail with their questions.
